MICHAEL SPOONER

Once in a while in life we meet someone whose eyes sparkle from the
first time we meet.   That's what happened when I met Michael Spooner.

And then, I read his poetry, and my heart was captured.  I continue
to urge him to write additional volumes, but no luck so far.  After
you hear these magical word pictures, I know you will want to have
a copy of his book for your own library.

Here are a few selections from:

A MOON IN YOUR LUNCH BOX
by Michael Spooner

          [Henry Holt/1993]

"Changes"
"Full Moon"
How the Moon Gets Smaller'
'Making Faces"
'Mud Love"
"The World Is a Living Thing"
"There's a Moon in Your Lunch Box"
